Nisa, the prominent retailer, is committed to embracing diversity and inclusivity by participating in this year’s Hull Pride event on 29 July. As part of their mission to represent all the communities Nisa retailers serve, the company has introduced the Pride Pot initiative. Launched during Pride month, this program allows Nisa retailers to access up to £500 of funding per donation, benefiting 100 community groups, events, and charities. The funding remains available until June 2024, giving retailers ample time to utilize it effectively.

Nisa’s head of charity, Kate Carroll, enthusiastically announced the launch of the Pride Pot, expressing confidence that Nisa retailers will seize this opportunity to support vital groups and charities within their communities. Emphasizing the significant role played by Nisa retailers in backing local causes across the UK, Carroll highlighted the Pride Pot’s explicit focus on benefiting the LGBTQ+ community. With anticipation, she also mentioned MADL’s involvement in supporting the event in Hull and called on Nisa retailers to extend their support to Pride events throughout the UK.

Indeed, Nisa’s active participation in Hull Pride and the introduction of the Pride Pot exemplify the company’s dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive society. With their ongoing commitment, Nisa continues to make a positive impact on local communities across the country.
