Gitesh Adeshara collaborated with the Liam Taylor Legacy charity to install the latest bleed control unit at Winsford News, located in Winsford Avenue. This charitable organization was established in memory of Liam, a local teenager who tragically lost his life in 2020 due to a stabbing incident.

Under the guidance of the Liam Taylor Legacy, this recent installation marks the 15th bleed control unit to be implemented. Independent Retail News and TalkingRetail.com have actively participated in encouraging retailers nationwide to adopt bleed control kits. These kits play a crucial role in saving lives immediately following stabbing incidents.

Leading this campaign is Lynne Baird, founder of the Daniel Baird Foundation. Lynne’s tireless efforts have focused on increasing the accessibility of bleed control kits. Her dedication was honored with an MBE recognition in the New Year’s Honours List.

The Daniel Baird Foundation was established in 2017 following the tragic loss of Lynne’s son, Daniel, who was fatally stabbed outside a nightclub in Birmingham at the age of 26.
