The partnership will offer Prime members the full Iceland selection on Amazon, with free same-day grocery delivery options available.
In addition, a new Amazon Fresh store has recently opened in London’s Liverpool Street, further contributing to our effort to create the ultimate grocery shopping experience for customers. Our goal is to make Amazon the go-to choice for selection, value, and convenience, whether customers are shopping in-store or online.
Initially, ‘Iceland on Amazon’ will be accessible to customers in selected postcodes within Greater Manchester. However, we plan to expand the availability to additional locations in the months to come.
Following in the footsteps of Morrisons and Co-op, Iceland is now making its grocery offerings available through Amazon. As a result, customers will have access to a wide array of items, including Iceland’s own label fresh and frozen products, along with exclusive brands like Greggs, Heinz, My Protein, and TGI Fridays, among others. All products will be sourced directly from a local Iceland store.
“Our new partnership with Iceland offers customers an even bigger selection of great value groceries on Amazon, with an abundance of delivery options for Prime members,” says John Boumphrey, UK country manager. We are dedicated to creating a best-in-class grocery shopping experience for our customers by extending our Fresh offering online to include some of the nation’s most beloved supermarkets, as well as introducing innovative Amazon Fresh stores.
As David Devany, chief customer & digital officer at Iceland, explains, “We’re committed to catering to our customers’ shopping preferences and ensuring they have convenient access to our affordable products whenever they need them. Partnering with Amazon is yet another avenue for Iceland customers to acquire our exclusive brands and freezer favorites. It’s also an exciting opportunity for us to introduce new shoppers to the benefits of shopping with Iceland.”
Going forward, Iceland on Amazon will be available on Amazon.co.uk and on the Amazon app.
