Heinz and Lean Kitchen Nutrition invite the UK to 'Rise and Heinz' with on-the-go breakfast

Heinz, in collaboration with the Lean Kitchen Network (LKN), has unveiled a range of new Heinz Brekkie grab-and-go meals, now available at WHSmith stores across the UK.

This initiative builds on their successful partnership that previously delivered delicious, Heinz-filled breakfasts directly to consumers’ doors. Now, Heinz and LKN aim to satisfy hungry commuters at over 80 WHSmith locations with bold, flavorful options.

The new meal range features enticing choices such as the All Day Brekkie Wrap, the All Day Brekkie Sub (complete with everyone’s favorite, Heinz Tomato Ketchup), and the Egg & Bacon Brekkie Wrap (served with generous helpings of Heinz Ketchup and the iconic Heinz Salad Cream). This launch coincides with a notable increase in demand for convenient dining options, evident in the 13% year-on-year surge in sales of on-the-go food and drink products.

Faraz Nagree, CEO of LKN, highlighted the importance of providing a “much needed, high-quality offer” for travelers seeking nutritious meals on the go.

“Many of us have experienced first-hand the challenge of finding a high-quality, flavor-rich breakfast when on the move,” Nagree emphasized. “Breakfast has always been identified as the most important meal of the day, and yet in many ways it is the most underserved, especially for busy commuters. With Heinz Brekkie, we’re changing the game!”

Heinz Brekkie, which originally launched in 2022, emerged from virtual kitchens to transform morning routines across the UK by offering high-quality breakfast solutions for a fast-paced, taste-conscious demographic. Looking ahead, Heinz Brekkie is set to broaden its retail presence next year by introducing hot meal options in retail locations throughout the UK.
