Kraft Heinz has announced the launch of its first IoT-enabled digital sauce dispenser, Heinz Remix, aimed at the foodservice sector. The new device can create more than 200 sauce combinations and can be personalized by the user via a touchscreen. Heinz Remix has taken just six months to build and offers four bases: Heinz Ketchup, Ranch, 57 Sauce and BBQ Sauce which can be further customized with enhancers such as Jalapeño, Smoky Chipotle, Buffalo and Mango. Consumers can choose their desired intensity level for the sauce, whether it be low, medium or high.
Alan Kleinerman, VP of disruption at Kraft Heinz, said that they were innovating by making bigger, more intentional bets to fuel growth and create new experiences for consumers. He added that Heinz Remix is not just a sauce dispenser but an insights engine and business model enabler that will help Kraft Heinz understand and respond to consumer preferences in real-time.
Peter Hall, President of US Away from Home at Kraft Heinz, also commented that Kraft Heinz will be showcasing Heinz Remix at the 2023 National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, with plans to debut it in restaurants later that year or early 2024. The company has continuously demonstrated its commitment to innovation and being an industry leader, exemplified by its aspirations of being the leader in taste, flavour, and experience, anywhere you eat.
Overall, it is evident that Kraft Heinz is dedicated to its consumer-first approach to innovation. With Heinz Remix, the company has the ability to understand and respond to the ever-changing food industry trends and flavour preferences. The introduction of Heinz Remix will revolutionize the foodservice industry by offering a unique and customized experience that is both efficient and innovative.
