Snappy Shopper, a popular grocery delivery platform, is expanding its services in Colchester, offering introductory discounts and bundle offerings to new and existing customers. The extended coverage includes seven stores in the area, all of which are utilizing Snappy Shopper to give back to their customers. New customers can enjoy a generous £10 off their first shop, courtesy of Snappy Shopper.

In addition to the discount, local stores participating in the partnership will also have the opportunity to offer 1p bundle offerings throughout the summer. This initiative aims to provide support to individuals facing the current cost-of-living crisis while strengthening the stores’ positions within their local communities.

Snappy Shopper initially expanded in Newcastle earlier this year and experienced remarkable growth within its participating stores. The platform witnessed an impressive 201% increase in the number of orders and a 61% increase in the number of sales, solidifying its success and popularity.

As part of this expansion, Colchester will welcome three new stores to the Snappy Shopper family. The new additions include Wine Well Store located at 40-42 The Cross, Colchester, CO7 9QL; Harwich Road Store at 18 Harwich Road, Little Clacton, Clacton-on-Sea, CO16 9ND; and Premier Connaught Convenience Store at 57 Connaught Avenue, Frinton-on-Sea, CO13 9PR.

Additionally, four existing stores in Colchester are already offering home delivery via Snappy Shopper. These stores are H&V Food and Wine at 673 Main Road, Harwich, CO12 4LZ; H&R Food & Wine at 729-731 Main Road, Harwich, CO12 4LZ; Garland Convenience Store at 30 Garland Road, Harwich, CO12 4PB; and Premier Health & Happiness at 558-560 Main Road, CO12 4HJ.

Jay, the owner of Premier Connaught Convenience Store, expressed excitement about his involvement with Snappy Shopper: “As a local community store, it’s important to me that I’m able to offer local grocery delivery to support those who can’t get out and about as easily as others, without putting a strain on their finances. Snappy Shopper allows me to do just that, with the same prices on the app as in-store.”

Mike Callachan, CEO of Snappy Shopper, emphasized the company’s mission to provide affordable and convenient grocery delivery. He expressed delight in expanding the platform’s services in the South to meet the needs of residents, ensuring a reliable and efficient service. Retailers in the area who wish to be part of this expansion can sign up by visiting the Snappy Shopper website.
