Carlsberg Britvic Introduces Pepsi Zero Sugar Pair

Carlsberg Britvic launches Pepsi Zero Sugar duo

Carlsberg Britvic is expanding its range of soft drinks by introducing two new Pepsi Zero Sugar flavors: Strawberries ‘N’ Cream and Cream Soda. These innovative variants are initially available at select grocery stores and will be rolled out to the restaurant and convenience sectors later this year.

The launch aims to capitalize on the surging demand for flavored colas, a market segment that is rapidly outpacing traditional unflavored cola, particularly among younger consumers. To enhance its market engagement, Pepsi has introduced a variety of flavor options, including Pepsi Electric and Pepsi MAX Mango.

According to Ben Parker, vice president of commercial off-trade at Carlsberg Britvic, the new products are specifically crafted to attract Gen Z shoppers while providing retailers a valuable opportunity to boost sales. “This latest launch is an exciting and bold step into the indulgence space and is designed with Gen Z flavor lovers in mind,” he noted. “The treat-inspired flavors will entice shoppers with a new experience and help increase sales in a highly competitive category. We’ll be working with retailers to help make the launch a success, with the aim of increasing footfall and sales.”

To support this rollout, Carlsberg Britvic is equipping retailers with point-of-sale materials and free case promotions aimed at enhancing visibility and consumer interest. The new Pepsi Zero Sugar Treats range will be available in various formats, including 500ml price-marked and plain bottles, multipacks of eight 330ml cans, and a 1.5-liter bottle for the Strawberries ‘N’ Cream variant.

It’s noteworthy that Carlsberg Britvic was founded in January 2025, signaling a commitment to innovation in the beverage sector.
