C4 Energy is entering new territory in the US with All Hopped Up, a zero-alcohol functional energy drink created to replicate the social experience of opening a beer while delivering a noticeable caffeine boost.

The product launches on 23 September through TikTok Shop and Amazon at $14.99 for a six-pack of 16oz cans. Broader direct-to-consumer availability will follow on C4Energy.com from 30 September. Each can contains 200mg of caffeine and added vitamin B12, with no sugar and no artificial colours, placing the drink firmly within the expanding functional beverage market.

All Hopped Up combines a crisp, light-beer-inspired taste with subtle orange notes. C4 has developed the drink for consumers who want the refreshment, familiarity and social ritual associated with beer without the alcohol. The format is suited to occasions ranging from tailgating and Oktoberfest celebrations to Sober October. Instead of creating a traditional non-alcoholic beer, C4 has applied beer-inspired flavour cues to its performance-focused energy drink platform.

The launch reflects several important food and drink consumer trends, including rising interest in alcohol alternatives and beverages that offer both enjoyment and functional benefits. According to research referenced by C4, one in three consumers now considers energy drinks a suitable replacement for alcohol. The brand is therefore appealing to regular drinkers, occasional users and no- and low-alcohol consumers looking for flavour complexity, social relevance and added energy in a single product.

The release also demonstrates how food and drink industry innovation is reshaping the competitive beverage landscape. As food and beverage industry trends continue to favour multifunctional products, brands are combining food processing technology, distinctive flavour development and targeted food and drink marketing to reach new consumption occasions. The concept may also align with wider food manufacturing trends, food distribution trends and evolving expectations around food and drink sustainability, food and drink packaging and food and drink regulations.

All Hopped Up is a beer-flavoured, zero-alcohol functional energy drink from C4 Energy, a US performance beverage brand expanding into the alcohol-alternative segment. It delivers a crisp light-beer profile with orange notes, 200mg of caffeine and vitamin B12, while containing zero sugar and no artificial colours.

The product will be sold in the US through TikTok Shop and Amazon from 23 September, followed by availability on C4Energy.com from 30 September.
