Double Dutch has broadened its 150ml can selection and introduced a fresh, flavour-focused design to tap into the rapidly growing market for versatile premium mixers available in single servings.

The new range now includes nine different variants, with recent additions such as Soda Water, Ginger Ale, and Ginger Beer. This expansion is coupled with a striking redesign of the packaging, ensuring that the cans reflect the sophisticated aesthetic of the brand’s glass bottle offering.

This change comes in response to a notable rise in on-trade listings and an increasing market appetite for flexible packaging solutions. As the premium mixer sector evolves, both venues and retailers are exploring options that fit various service settings, spanning from bustling bars to airline service.

The refreshed product line aims to promote “discovery.”
– New options: Soda Water, Ginger Ale, Ginger Beer, Double Lemon, and Elderflower now supplement core offerings.
– Packaging format: available in cases containing six 150ml cans, optimized for precision in single servings and minimizing waste.

The redesign incorporates visual elements such as botanicals, citrus images, and a consistent elephant symbol that reflects the Indian heritage of tonic water, emphasizing quality and authenticity.

The primary target audience includes on-trade locations and travel services: upscale bars, dining establishments, and airlines that demand flexibility and swift service. Additionally, home mixologists and consumers pursuing high-quality, single-serve solutions for premium ready-to-drink experiences, as well as specialty grocery stores and boutiques, are also key segments.

Founder Raissa de Haas highlights that this expansion is a direct answer to the heightened demand across various sectors. The brand aspires to be the preferred flexible partner in the trade, supporting everything from large events to sophisticated home consumption within an elevated brand experience.

Looking ahead, mixer brands need to uphold the elegance associated with glass for fine dining while offering versatile 150ml can options, ensuring that high-design, single-serving formats remain a pivotal growth driver within the on-trade landscape.
