As the Official Soft Drinks Partner of the Premier League, Coca-Cola is excited to introduce the new 500ml Supercan, accompanied by a nationwide Superfan on-pack promotion. This initiative celebrates and rewards the unwavering passion that drives football fans throughout the UK.

Promotional packs are exclusively available at Sainsbury’s, with a nationwide rollout scheduled from March 2 to May 4. Following the conclusion of this promotion, the 500ml can will become a permanent fixture within Coca-Cola’s core product line. This move further enhances its on-the-go portfolio, addressing the growing consumer demand for larger, premium-looking packaging that aligns with contemporary lifestyles.

The 500ml Supercan is available in Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and Diet Coke, with a recommended retail price of £1.95. This format capitalizes on one of the fastest-growing single-serve categories in sparkling soft drinks, providing retailers with a powerful tool to attract new customers and boost purchase frequency.

Designed to combine the premium appeal of a can with a convenient size for on-the-go occasions, the format aims to enhance visibility in retail spaces. Moreover, it complements existing 500ml PET offerings, making it an attractive addition for consumers seeking a reliable refreshment.

The limited-edition Supercan design embodies the spirit of football fandom, incorporating fan murals and iconic football imagery. Bold graphics depicting gloves, boots, balls, goals, scarves, and trophies create a high-impact packaging design that captures attention in-store and resonates with fans during critical matchday moments.

Every promotional 500ml Supercan features a QR code that invites shoppers to participate in a series of football-themed challenges hosted on a dedicated Coca-Cola microsite. These engaging activities will be updated monthly, covering topics from stadium and kit awareness to iconic moments in Premier League history.
