Middledale Foods has announced the appointment of Faye Barber as technical manager. In this pivotal role, Barber will lead the enhancement of technical standards and compliance across the organization.
Her focus will be on strengthening relationships with customers and partners while driving continuous improvements to uphold food safety, product quality, and sustainable growth.
With more than 20 years of experience in the food industry, including her recent role at Fairway GB and previous work with Park Cakes, Barber brings invaluable expertise in collaborating with manufacturing partners, ensuring compliance, and refining quality management systems.
This experience, particularly her ability to work effectively with both customers and suppliers, aligns seamlessly with Middledale Foods’ ambitions to enhance its technical capabilities and partnership-oriented approach.
Barber will report directly to managing director Sarah Summers, who expressed enthusiasm for her arrival. In conjunction with Barber’s hiring, former quality systems manager Gail Dickens will transition into the role of compliance manager, supported by technical assistant Corina Mosneanu. Both will report to Barber.
This restructuring signals Middledale Foods’ ongoing commitment to investing in its team as it aims for expansion in both UK and international markets.
