Kammoon has announced the opening of a new facility designed to meet the growing demand for Mediterranean-inspired, clean-label foods. This state-of-the-art facility enhances the company’s ability to co-manufacture a variety of products, including cold mezze snack boxes, high-protein dips, salads, and ready-to-eat Mediterranean meals tailored for airline and foodservice catering lines.
Recognized for its quality mezze and dips, Kammoon products are already available at retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Planet Organic, and Bayley & Sage. Furthermore, the company serves as a white-label partner for a diverse range of additional retailers and airlines.
The new facility, built in accordance with BRC standards, represents a significant milestone in Kammoon’s evolution as a leading supplier of authentic Levantine cuisine, both under its own brand and as a white-label provider.
This facility features dedicated high-care zones along with allergen separation areas, rapid chilling capabilities, and temperature-controlled storage to ensure product quality and safety.
Kammoon’s product lineup includes a 100% natural, preservative-free selection of hummus, baba ghanouj, freshly prepared salads, falafel, Lebanese wraps, and seasonal mezze boxes. All items are handcrafted in small batches and packaged in plastic-free, compostable containers.
Marina Azar, managing partner and Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef, stated: “This facility marks a transformative step in our journey. It gives us the infrastructure to grow sustainably while staying true to our craft – producing food with care, by hand and at scale. It also enables us to support like-minded brands through meaningful white label collaborations.”
Founded by nutritionist and chef Marina Azar, Kammoon is supported by members of the Fadel family, renowned descendants of Lebanon’s famed Mounir Restaurant, as well as hospitality expert Tarek El Chikhani.
This expansion coincides with similar investments in the food manufacturing sector. For instance, Protein Works has recently unveiled a £10 million facility in Liverpool, integrating production, fulfillment, and R&D under one roof. Additionally, Whitakers Chocolates has made a notable investment in a new nut facility at its Snaygill site in Skipton.
