Third-party logistics provider CEVA Logistics has unveiled plans to implement warehouse and order management systems from Manhattan Associates.

CEVA will leverage these cloud-based tools as part of a global strategy designed to effectively address the dynamic and diverse requirements of its international customer base.

Based in France, CEVA oversees more than 11 million m2 of warehouse space across 800 sites worldwide. The deployment of Manhattan Associates’ Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Order Management System (OMS) will initially occur at selected locations in North America and Europe, followed by a broader global rollout.

Ultimately, Manhattan systems are set to operate at “more than half” of CEVA’s contract logistics sites, while the remaining locations will continue utilizing CEVA’s Matrix® systems.

Chris Walton, Senior Vice President of Global Contract Logistics at CEVA, emphasized the importance of integrating new technologies in propelling the company forward. He stated, “This latest deliverable on our longer-term strategy ensures we are perfectly placed to accelerate the deployment of the latest advances in data, AI, wearables, cobots and other solutions for the maximum benefit to our customer.”

Eric Clark, CEO of Manhattan Associates, acknowledged the collaborative potential between the two companies. He remarked that both organizations “place innovation and customers at the core of everything we do.”

This technological advancement will empower CEVA to “stay ahead of competitors, react to global events and turn challenges into opportunities in the fast-moving world of third-party logistics and supply chain,” Clark added.
