TNA Solutions is set to unveil its tna conti-pro PEL 3 fryer designed for pellet and extruded snacks at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, located at stand W-2350. This event will also highlight a range of intelligent, integrated systems for distribution and packaging, reinforcing TNA’s role as a comprehensive solutions partner in the food industry. By focusing on seamless production flow, peak efficiency, and minimized waste, TNA enhances resilience and growth for food and drink packaging manufacturers.

The demand for extruded and pellet-based snacks across North America is on the rise. The extruded snack segment alone is projected to be valued at $9.36 billion USD in 2024, with a forecasted growth rate of 3.27% CAGR through 2033. The tna conti-pro PEL 3, manufactured in the United States and making its debut at the expo, offers a high-performance, low-oil-volume solution that prioritizes quality, efficiency, and operational flexibility. Its advanced four-belt configuration facilitates even frying and thorough de-oiling, while precise temperature control and continuous oil filtration ensure consistent product quality and reduced waste.

In addition to the fryer, TNA will showcase the tna roflo® HM3 horizontal motion conveyor, designed for gentle and consistent product transfer. This ensures minimal breakage and provides flexible distribution across multiple packaging lines. Also featured is the Perfect Pair, which includes the tna robag® 3e vertical form, fill, and seal system, partnered with tna auto-splice 3 film-splicing technology. This combination eliminates manual roll changes, maximizing uptime and efficiency.

“In the US, the trend towards portion control and the ‘snackification’ of meals is growing, with multi-packs and single-serve formats satisfying both budget and lifestyle needs. Moreover, the demand for healthier options is driving a preference for high-protein, high-fiber, and clean-label snacks. Innovative flavors, collaborations, and ‘swicy’ products are becoming mainstream, showcasing the increasing appetite for novelty and flavor exploration,” states Mukul Shukla, Vice President, TNA North America. “Whether a manufacturer is aiming for higher throughput, tighter resource efficiency, or more sustainable production, the goal remains the same — to achieve more with less complexity and do it reliably.”

This unified ecosystem seamlessly integrates all aspects of distribution, seasoning, and packaging, empowering producers to accelerate operations, simplify processes, and unlock new levels of efficiency and flexibility in food and drink sustainable packaging.

TNA’s innovative approach is already delivering tangible benefits in the industry. For example, a popcorn manufacturer transitioned from multiple providers to a complete TNA integrated line—including the tna intelli-flav® and tna robag®—achieving sustained speeds of 140 bags per minute on 11g packs while minimizing waste to below 1%. Innovations such as precision flour-salt dosing, automated kernel removal, and dual-mode wet and dry seasoning in one drum have enabled consistent product quality, reduced ingredient giveaway, and faster changeovers, supporting both performance and profitability.

PAT EXPO Las Vegas 2025—scheduled from September 29 to October 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center—is North America’s largest packaging and processing event. TNA experts will be available throughout the show to discuss specific processing and packaging needs. Visit TNA North America, Inc. at booth W-2350.
