ProAmpac has introduced its innovative ProActive recycle-ready polyolefin films specifically designed for high-speed chunk cheese packaging. This solution effectively meets the stringent demands of chunk cheese production while maintaining optimal shelf life and performance.
Designed with transparency, the ProActive films allow consumers to view the product before making a purchase. Additionally, these films offer puncture resistance, and are engineered to withstand the high temperatures encountered during the filling process.
ProAmpac emphasizes that its sealing technology operates at a low initiation temperature, ensuring robust seals and significantly reducing the risk of leaks during high-speed operations.
“These specialized films deliver outstanding abrasion resistance and have successfully passed rigorous transportation testing, ensuring dependable product protection from production through distribution,” states Ebrahim Jalali Dil, Global Senior Innovator at ProAmpac.
Furthermore, the films provide a range of barrier options tailored to accommodate different cheese formats and moisture levels, offering the versatility and performance dairy brands require to maintain freshness and visual appeal.
Importantly, this eco-friendly packaging solution aligns with PE recycling streams and can incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) material, a sustainable choice for cheese producers.
In addition to this launch, ProAmpac has previously extended its dairy product line with Butter Fresh Parchment foil-paper-based wraps for enhanced protection.
The company has also developed a spotted pouch for insecticide that utilizes less plastic than traditional alternatives, along with an oil-free, moisture-protection film solution.
