International flexible packaging solutions expert Korozo Group is showcasing its comprehensive range of innovative packaging solutions tailored for food and drink applications at Pack Expo International 2024, taking place this week (November 3-6) in Chicago.
The highlighted innovations include skin films for vacuum packs, thermoforming films, stand-up and flat-bottom pouches, as well as lidding and flow wrap films. Korozo Group’s flexible films cater to a diverse array of food and drink items, which include:

In addition to offering the essential barrier properties and performance features necessary for maintaining product integrity, Korozo’s films can be engineered to be recyclable through the use of the proprietary KoroRCY polyolefin-based flexible laminated film. This innovation yields a recycle-ready packaging solution that is applicable across various chilled and high-barrier packaging requirements.
KoroRCY is manufactured on Korozo’s advanced in-house extrusion lines, using a cutting-edge PE formulation. Noteworthy features include unparalleled clarity compared to OPP/PE and PET/PE laminates, alongside superior stiffness, strength, and weight that outshine traditional PET/PE laminates of similar thickness.
Optimal for flexo and gravure printing, KoroRCY offers moisture and gas barriers that are suitable for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and other applications, while also accommodating zippers and tear notches in pack designs.
