Coveris, a leading manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions, is set to showcase its newest products at lunch! 2023, the premier event for the food-to-go industry. The event will take place on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th September 2023 at ExCeL London.

One of Coveris’ highlights at lunch! 2023 will be the launch of its BarrierFresh MAP skillet, a cutting-edge addition to its food-on-the-move range. The BarrierFresh MAP skillet is designed to keep sandwiches fresher for longer by controlling pack atmosphere, contributing to food waste reduction goals. In addition to extending shelf life, these skillets offer branding opportunities and ensure impeccable protection for the products.

At the event, Coveris will also present its eco-efficient food service solutions, including EnviroPac Bagasse. Made from renewable and sustainably sourced materials, EnviroPac Bagasse offers a viable alternative to EPS packaging, further enhancing Coveris’ commitment to sustainability.

Paul Robertson, Coveris’ food-on-the-move sales director, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s diverse range of sustainable solutions as the single-use plastics ban looms. He stated, “Coveris is proud to offer such a diverse range of sustainable solutions that align perfectly with our No Waste Vision.”

In addition to these innovative solutions, Coveris’ stand will feature its acclaimed HEAT range, a collection of packaging solutions that can withstand oven and hot-hold applications. This range caters to consumer demands for a wider variety of hot food-to-go products and provides the ideal grab-and-go solution.

Coveris’ partnership with Notpla will also be highlighted at lunch! 2023. The stand will showcase a range of award-winning food cartons coated with Notpla, a coating developed by Notpla. These cartons are made from seaweed and plant extracts, and the award-winning barrier coating allows for a food-safe function. What’s more, the coating naturally breaks down in just 4-6 weeks at the end of its life cycle.
