Moreover, the system’s dynamic control facilitates rapid heating and cooling — typically at 10–20°C per second — while maintaining temperature within exceptional accuracy (±1°C). This level of precision not only assures consistent sealing quality but also allows the system to be safely powered down during production pauses, yielding energy savings of up to 50% compared to conventional sealing techniques.
Lab-scale tests utilizing PPCover have confirmed the technology’s robust performance, showcasing excellent peel behavior, high internal pressure resistance, and dependable sealing results for both PP and aluminum lids — all achievable with the same equipment.
