In a strategic partnership agreement, Bizerba and Fabbri Group, represented by CEOs Andreas W. Kraut and Stefano Pellegatta respectively, convened at Bizerba’s headquarters in Balingen, Germany to collaborate on innovative solutions targeted at the food sector.
The objective of this joint venture is to develop an integrated range of packaging machines coupled with premium packaging materials, along with comprehensive technical support and spare parts services, all from one reliable source.
Among the innovative advancements anticipated are hybrid stretch wrappers utilizing recyclable monomaterial films exclusively produced by Fabbri Group. Complementing this packaging machine technology, Bizerba intends to offer solutions in areas such as slicing, weighing, labeling, and cashing, ensuring a seamless integration of operations.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration, Fabbri Group’s CEO Stefano Pellegatta highlights Bizerba as an “outstanding” partner, perfectly aligned with their strong presence in the retail industry.
Pellegatta adds, “After engaging discussions and an excellent initial exchange, we are now ready to proceed with the operational aspects, providing global retailers with genuine added value through our joint solutions.”

The initial launch of their collaborative solutions is scheduled for autumn 2023 in selected regions. Subsequently, the official unveiling of their joint venture will take place at the Cibus Tec trade show in Parma, Italy, at the end of October 2023.
