Regal Foods Elevates Partnership with Bradford College by Funding Enhanced Kitchen Facilities. Bradford College, funding, kitchen facilities, partnership, Regal Foods, upgrades Food and Beverage Business

Regal Foods announced a significant investment that has facilitated the launch of a new Level 3 Professional Cooking, Patisserie, and Confectionery course. Moreover, this funding supports the expansion of Level 2 hospitality modules, enhancing opportunities for students in the food manufacturing sector.

Utilizing the funding, Regal Foods has upgraded existing kitchens, equipping them with the latest professional-grade tools. These include commercial induction hobs, baking tins, cookware, and high-performance fridges and freezers. Such enhancements provide students with practical experience using equipment prevalent in professional kitchens, thus bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry demands.

The new Level 3 course, along with the enhanced Level 2 modules, will cover various aspects of professional cooking, including breads, doughs, pastries, as well as both hot and cold desserts. This comprehensive curriculum ensures that students acquire the practical skills, technical knowledge, and industry insights necessary for successful careers in the baking, catering, and broader food manufacturing landscape.

Faz Ali, sales & marketing director of Regal Food Products Group Plc, stated: “Building on our ongoing partnership with Bradford College, we are thrilled to expand the opportunities available to students. By enhancing the curriculum and providing access to modern, professional equipment, we hope to inspire the next generation of chefs and bakers to reach their full potential.”

Janice Flude, chef lecturer at Bradford College, remarked: “When colleges have the opportunity to partner with industry professionals, it enables new perspectives and ideas to develop and enhance the curriculum offer by the department. This allows our learners to grow and have a greater chance of successful employment within the hospitality industry. I believe Regal and the college are developing a strong partnership with mutual understanding from both sides, creating great value for the future.”
