At IFFA 2025, Provisur and the Multivac Group unveiled a significant cooperation agreement aimed at delivering integrated slicing lines tailored for high-output raw gammon and bacon products.

This partnership promises to offer customers expertly coordinated line solutions from a single source—encompassing slicing, loading, packaging, labeling, and quality control. While the lines boast impressive output capabilities, the primary focus remains on precise weight accuracy and yield optimization in slicing solutions.

Brian Perkins, president of Provisur, characterized Multivac as an ideal partner, sharing its “unparalleled desire to push boundaries and provide full line solutions to our customers.”

“With Provisur’s complementary product offerings and extensive applications expertise in this sector, we can deliver unmatched industry-leading solutions to our customers, effective immediately. Provisur and Multivac are embarking on a significant partnership as two industry-leading brands. I am excited about the opportunities for the future,” explained Perkins.

To meet the growing demands in the slicing sector, Multivac is enhancing its product portfolio for integrated line solutions, demonstrating its commitment to food manufacturing excellence.

“In discussions with our customers, we have identified an urgent need for slicing solutions for natural products in the high-output range, where we currently do not yet have a slicer in our portfolio,” noted Christian Traumann, group president of the Multivac Group. “It is our aspiration to offer high-quality solutions with added value in this market sector as well. To quickly fill this gap, we have chosen to partner with Provisur, who possesses decades of experience in ‘whole muscle’ applications, such as bacon and raw ham products. Together, we can immediately provide our customers with exceptional line solutions in the high-output categories.”

Both companies view this as a global cooperation that allows for the provision of joint solutions on an international scale. In the future, complete slicing lines will be available for purchase through either Provisur or Multivac.

Multivac will manage project logistics for the complete line on behalf of the customer, and will also deliver worldwide service and after-sales support. Food processing companies will greatly benefit from Multivac’s line expertise, ensuring they have just one supplier for all their needs.
