According to the preliminary findings of an exhibitor and trade visitor survey, about half of the exhibitors at Fruit Logistica 2024 were able to close business deals. Approximately 90% of these exhibitors expect the follow-up business to be ‘satisfactory’ to ‘very good’. The overall assessment from exhibitors was positive, as around nine out of 10 respondents said they would recommend Fruit Logistica to others in their business circle, and the same number plan to take part in Fruit Logistica 2025.

In addition to the success of exhibitors, trade visitor activity was also high, with over 80% securing new business leads and about one in three already concluding business during the show. The overall impression among trade visitors was very positive, with about 95% stating that their experience was good and expressing a willingness to recommend the event to colleagues or business partners. Furthermore, over 90% would be willing to travel to Berlin again for Fruit Logistica 2025.

With over 66,000 visitors, as well as 24,000 exhibitor staff and 450 media representatives, the event hosted a total of 2,770 exhibitors who presented their innovations. Fruit Logistica saw four out of five trade visitors from abroad, with attendees from 145 countries and exhibitors from 94 nations.

Exhibitors conveyed their satisfaction with Fruit Logistica 2024, with some sharing their positive experiences. Simone Keijzer, CEO of Gearbox, highlighted the platform as an excellent opportunity to engage with decision-makers interested in digitalization and AI-based quality control. Similarly, Don van Haeff, sales advisor at Light4Food, noted that the event enabled them to meet both existing and potential customers.

Mitchel Bakker, manager at Ellips, also reported that the recently launched AI platform attracted significant attention, which led to discussions with customers about expanding collaborations and initiating new projects.

Kai Mangelberger, the event director, emphasized the positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors, affirming the importance of face-to-face meetings, especially in challenging times. Mangelberger also mentioned that stand rental prices will not be increasing in the coming year, providing further encouragement for participation in future editions of Fruit Logistica.
