Campden BRI is thrilled to announce the relaunch of on-site events, marking a return to in-person networking opportunities in 2023. After adapting to a hybrid-remote approach in response to the pandemic, we are excited to once again welcome our members to the Chipping Campden site for a series of engaging events, conferences, and seminars.
Bertrand Emond, Campden BRI membership ambassador and professional development & culture excellence lead, expressed his enthusiasm for supporting our members through valuable networking experiences. He stated, “It’s fantastic to be able to support our members in this way by providing such valuable networking opportunities. We are so excited to invite members back onto site in this way, and see the benefits of the excellent programmes that we have put together for them.”
We have meticulously curated a selection of three insightful events for our members in 2023:
1. Partnerships and Accessing Funding – 19th October 2023:
This event will focus on accessing funding for food and drink industry innovations and research. Through engaging talks from funding bodies and industry experts, attendees will gain insights into the UK and EU funding landscape, learn how to engage with research, understand the opportunities offered by Innovate UK, explore case studies from Campden BRI, and hear directly from businesses that have benefited from funding.
2. Optimising Food Allergen Management Through Risk Management and Risk Communication – 14th November 2023:
This event will delve into effective risk management and risk communication to ensure the implementation of robust process controls for safe food production. Attendees will hear from expert speakers who will provide updates on the latest developments in managing food allergens. The event will also cover concepts and techniques used in other industries to visualize and communicate risk, information provision throughout the supply chain, and advancements in precautionary allergen labeling.
3. Smart Manufacturing – Maximising the Opportunities from Industry 4.0 – 23rd November 2023:
Industry 4.0 digital solutions offer tremendous potential for enhancing food manufacturing processes, including accurate process control, improved efficiency and output, and error prevention. Through insightful presentations from Campden BRI and special guest speakers, this event will address the challenges that Industry 4.0 solutions can tackle. Attendees will gain valuable insights into implementing these solutions and overcoming common barriers, empowering food and drink business operators to adapt to changing demands and conditions within their factories.
