Gurms Athwal will join the executive team of Unitas Wholesale, assuming his role on 2 June 2025. His extensive career in the food and beverage industry spans over 25 years, primarily focused on wholesale sector dynamics.
Athwal has held trading director positions at prominent Unitas Wholesale members, including JK Foods, Hyperama, and most recently, Parfetts, where he successfully served for the past four years. Additionally, he has worked as a non-executive director on the Unitas Wholesale board, further honing his expertise in food distribution trends.
Given his longstanding association with the buying group and his wealth of experience, Unitas Wholesale is confident that Athwal is exceptionally well-equipped for this pivotal role.
