Pipers Farm Unveils New Production Facility and Rebranding as Edenmoor. Food and Beverage Business

A significant investment has been made in a new, purpose-built production facility located in Devon, covering approximately 25,000 sq ft.

The Cullompton site boasts nearly four times the carcass capacity of Edenmoor’s former operations and features specialized dry-aging facilities, aligning with food manufacturing trends focused on quality and artisan practices.

Additionally, this facility enhances energy efficiency through state-of-the-art equipment and revamped cold-store infrastructure. Notably, daily vehicle movements will decrease as operations are now consolidated into a single location.

With this expansion, the company aims to propel its revenue from approximately £7.5 million today to over £10 million in the upcoming years. The new infrastructure is designed to facilitate further potential revenue growth, reaching up to £20 million.

This facility will support 50 full-time local jobs, with 95% of employees sourced from the surrounding area. Plans for a butchery apprenticeship program are also underway, emphasizing the preservation of traditional craft skills.

Edenmoor is committed to collaborating with existing producers while actively incorporating additional local farmers to drive future growth, aligning with evolving food distribution trends.

“The investment in Edenmoor marks the start of our next phase of growth. This is very much a ‘doubling down’ on quality, provenance and operational discipline. The new facility allows the business to scale and allows expansion of the product range, including more value-added and marinated products, responding directly to customer demand,” stated managing director Harry Radford.

The relocation of the site coincides with the business rebranding from Pipers Farm to Edenmoor, reflecting the company’s next growth stage and adherence to food and drink industry innovation.

Edenmoor’s name is inspired by the stunning landscapes between Dartmoor and Exmoor—areas that have shaped the business’s foundations. This new identity also represents the balance and abundance of ‘Eden’, highlighting the company’s dedication to transparent sourcing, animal welfare, and natural food, which aligns with current food and drink sustainability efforts.

“The name change of Edenmoor better reflects who we are today: a collective of producers farming with care for the land, its animals and the people we feed. While our name is changing, our principles are not,” Radford added.
