Hero Group has announced the appointment of Georgina Pattison as the new general manager for its operations in the UK and Ireland, following the exit of Matthew Mills. Mills previously guided the company through the integration of the plant-based brand Deliciously Ella.

This leadership transition follows Hero’s acquisition of Deliciously Ella in 2024, during which the brand was merged into the broader UK and Ireland operations. Mills, who co-founded Deliciously Ella alongside Ella Mills, assumed the role of general manager for the newly expanded UK&I division in October 2025 post-acquisition.

Hero indicated that Mills is stepping away after successfully completing the initial integration phase. Pattison, previously the commercial director for Hero UK&I, will take over his responsibilities. With experience as managing director of Deliciously Ella’s commercial operations prior to the acquisition, she brings valuable insights from both companies as Hero seeks to strengthen its footprint in the UK market.

Pattison will now lead the next stage of integration and expansion within the UK and Ireland. The company emphasized her extensive background in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), commercial leadership, and operational management.

Menno Oosterhoff, Hero’s chief markets and sales officer, stated that the UK continues to be a key focus for the organization, highlighting efforts to enhance operational foundations, coordinate teams, and boost performance.

Based in Switzerland, Hero Group is engaged in various sectors, including infant nutrition, snacking, and health-centric food categories. Its diverse brand portfolio features names like Organix, Corny, Beech-Nut, and Deliciously Ella.
