The Canada-based cereal products manufacturer, Nature’s Path Organic Foods, has announced leadership changes in the food and beverage industry. The company’s CEO and co-founder Ratana Stephens will be retiring, while general manager Arjan Stephens will become president and lead the company’s growth and sustainability strategy to the 50 countries it currently sells to.
No replacement for the CEO position has been announced yet for the privately-held family business. Ratana Stephens will join her husband and co-founder Arran Stephens on the company’s board of directors. Nature’s Path Organic Foods, established 35 years ago in Richmond, British Columbia, offers an organic product portfolio including well-known granola and cereal brands such as Nature’s Path, Love Crunch, Que Pasa, and EnviroKidz.
Ratana Stephens expressed her confidence in Arjan Stephens, stating, “He has consistently demonstrated his unwavering commitment to making Nature’s Path Organic Foods the first choice for consumers who value high-quality organic food.” Arjan Stephens, who has been with the company for over 17 years, emphasized his dedication to the company’s legacy of innovation and sustainability, ensuring that Nature’s Path Organic Foods remains the preferred choice for consumers who value great tasting, high-quality organic food.
The company’s commitment to sustainability and organic practices is a fundamental part of its identity. Nature’s Path Organic Foods will continue to innovate and push boundaries while upholding its pledge to leave the earth better than it was found.
Last month, Nature’s Path revealed its acquisition of baby food and children’s snack brand Love Child Organics from local peer GreenSpace Brands, marking the company’s entry into the baby-food market. This strategic move further expands Nature’s Path Organic Foods’ product offerings.
