AHDB introduces British dairy campaign in Hong Kong AHDB, British dairy, campaign, Hong Kong, launches Food and Beverage Business

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) recently launched a month-long marketing campaign to promote British dairy products in Hong Kong. Three professional chefs from the region, including Saito Chau of Chineseology, Tiff Lo of Jean May, and Adam Catterall of Roganic, will be preparing dishes featuring British dairy throughout the campaign.

The campaign, which commenced on March 1st, 2024, will continue until the end of the month. Each chef will showcase the quality, variety, and versatility of British dairy by creating cheese, beef, and pork dishes at their respective restaurants.

The goal of this initiative is to introduce consumers in Hong Kong to the premium dairy products available from the UK. Lucy Randolph, AHDB’s head of international trade development for dairy, highlighted the significance of the Hong Kong market as an important importer of dairy products. She emphasized the opportunities it presents for UK dairy in both the foodservice sector and high-end retail establishments.

“We are excited to elevate the profile of our high-quality dairy products among consumers in Hong Kong,” said Randolph. “Having three of the region’s top chefs create dishes that showcase the best of what the UK has to offer is truly a testament to the excellence of British dairy.”

By collaborating with these renowned chefs, AHDB aims to increase awareness and appreciation for British dairy in the Hong Kong market. The campaign is a strategic move to position UK dairy products as a premium choice for consumers seeking quality and flavor in their culinary experiences.
