According to Kenny, who served as Unitas’ previous executive, he expressed his gratitude for his enjoyable 18 months with the company while mentioning his plans to take on new challenges. During his tenure, he worked closely with John and the team to review various aspects of the business, including central services, own brand, and digital transformation. With the successful delivery of the new strategic vision for Unitas at the recent conference, Kenny believes it is an opportune moment to leave the implementation of these strategies in the capable hands of John and his team. He wished them the very best for the future.
In response to Kenny’s departure, John Kinney, Unitas managing director, acknowledged Aoife’s significant contribution to the formation of the Unitas strategy and her value as an asset to the business. Additionally, Unitas is excited to announce Kirsty Cooper as its new commercial director. Joining the executive team on November 13, Kirsty currently holds the position of commercial director at Acosta Europe. Her extensive experience includes senior roles at Capri-Sun, Britvic, CCEP, Red Bull, Greene King, and Ramsden International. John Kinney expressed his delight in Kirsty accepting the offer to be the commercial director, emphasizing her important role in delivering Unitas’ ambitious plans.
Kirsty Cooper herself expressed her eagerness to join the Unitas team, recognizing the company as a great business with some of the UK’s leading wholesalers. She looks forward to supporting them in achieving their strategic objectives.
