Starbucks is expanding one of its most anticipated seasonal traditions beyond the beverage counter.
The coffee retailer has partnered with Peanuts on a limited-edition autumn collection starring Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and other beloved characters. Available from Sept. 15 at participating Starbucks locations worldwide, the range links the yearly arrival of the Pumpkin Spice Latte with another defining symbol of the American fall season: “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”
The launch has been timed to coincide with a significant milestone. The animated special debuted in October 1966 and reaches its 60th anniversary this year. That occasion allows Starbucks to unite the nostalgia associated with Peanuts and the excitement customers have come to expect from its autumn menu.
The initiative also highlights the coffee chain’s growing view of branded merchandise as a strategic part of its wider retail and beverage business, rather than simply an add-on to coffee sales.
Snoopy leads the Starbucks collection
Starbucks’ Peanuts range features 10 collectible items across drinkware, lifestyle accessories and plush merchandise.
The most distinctive launch is expected to be the Snoopy Glass Cold Cup. Designed in the shape of Snoopy, the clear vessel comes with a pumpkin-toned hat, green scarf and Woodstock straw topper. The cup retails for $39.95 in the US, with purchases limited to two per customer.
The wider assortment includes a stainless steel cold cup decorated with Lucy and Snoopy, a Great Pumpkin tumbler, a 24-ounce cold cup with seasonal Snoopy artwork and a ceramic mug featuring the Peanuts characters. Shoppers can also choose from a Snoopy plush, mini tote, bag charm and enamel pin set.
Subject to availability, the products will be sold at participating Starbucks coffeehouses in the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
The partnership also offers an expanded online selection for US Starbucks Rewards members. Starbucks Shop will stock further apparel and accessories, including Snoopy sweatshirts, a scarf and a tote bag. Members holding Reserve status will have access to an additional range of exclusive merchandise.
Why Peanuts fits Starbucks’ autumn strategy
The business case for the partnership extends well beyond adding recognizable cartoon imagery to coffee merchandise.
For years, Starbucks has positioned the start of fall as a major consumer event, with the Pumpkin Spice Latte serving as its central product. In August, the company introduced a separate PSL Society merchandise range featuring pumpkin-themed drinkware, a water bottle and apparel.
The Peanuts brand gives Starbucks another established tradition through which to engage customers during the autumn season.
Although Linus’ search for the Great Pumpkin and the annual return of Pumpkin Spice Latte belong to different areas of popular culture, both are driven by anticipation, repetition and emotional familiarity. Starbucks is using those common elements to create a new line of collectible foodservice merchandise.
The move is consistent with the company’s broader approach to branded products. Starbucks reported that its Glass Bearista Cold Cup sold out in under 24 hours during the 2025 holiday season. Since then, it has continued to develop limited-edition launches and brand collaborations positioned at the intersection of coffee culture, entertainment and collectibles. The company has pointed to partnerships involving Peanuts, Hello Kitty, Miffy and Roller Rabbit as examples of concepts that can appeal to multiple generations and markets worldwide.
This also marks a continuation of the Starbucks-Peanuts relationship. Their global partnership began in March 2025 with “Joe Kind Snoopy,” a Starbucks-exclusive interpretation of the character, supported by Peanuts-inspired beverages, food products and merchandise.
The Starbucks Snoopy collaboration includes seasonal drinks
Starbucks is extending the character partnership into its fall beverage lineup as well as its retail collection.
From Sept. 15, US customers will be able to order two limited-time drinks inspired by Peanuts through the “Trending Beverages” section of the Starbucks app.
The Charlie Brown Mocha Frappuccino blends pumpkin spice and mocha flavors with pumpkin spice cold foam and a mocha drizzle. Meanwhile, the Snoopy Cookie Frappuccino combines vanilla bean and white mocha with pumpkin spice cold foam and cookie crumbles.
The combined beverage and merchandise rollout shows how substantially the Pumpkin Spice Latte platform has developed. What started as a seasonal coffee product now supports limited-edition food and beverage launches, collectibles and brand partnerships centered on the broader experience of fall.
