– Frozen beef burger: £3.42 (29% increase)

– Eggs: £3.31 (27% increase)

Moreover, Britsuperstore’s data also highlights the top ten food categories most affected by inflation:

– Frozen food: 19.60% average increase
– Fresh vegetables: 18.83% average increase
– Store cupboard: 18.25% average increase
– Crisps: 18.00% average increase
– Dairy: 17.60% average increase
– Soft drinks: 15.90% average increase
– Butter, spreads, and oils: 15.67% average increase
– Fish: 14.50% average increase
– Bakery: 13.14% average increase
– Chilled foods: 13.14% average increase
