Inspired by the mountains and the popular Gardener cocktail originally served at Matsuhisa in Aspen, Colorado, Gardenista is an ingredient-focused cocktail that elevates the drinking experience.
Gardenista is available in three enticing varieties: Vodka, known for its smoothness and crisp finish; Tequila, offering zesty lime brightness complemented by a spicy kick; and Bourbon, which provides warm undertones paired with a tangy twist.
Designed for versatility, Gardenista can be shaken, poured, or spritzed to create delightful cocktails. Each bottle serves five cocktails and is low-calorie, containing just 98 calories per serving. Each variety boasts a 15% ABV and features dominant flavors, including ginger, jalapeño, lime, thyme, and raw cane sugar.
Independently owned and operated, Gardenista was founded by a collective of experts in the spirits and hospitality industry. These professionals possess extensive knowledge across sales, distribution, finance, consumer packaged goods, and marketing.
Among the founding team are industry veterans like Kevin Berg and Vince Parrinello. They have a proven track record of successfully launching various spirit brands, including Effen Vodka, and have collaborated with Fortune 500 companies such as Constellation, Coors, Bacardi, and PepsiCo.
While dining at Aspen’s renowned Japanese restaurant, Matsuhisa, the founders were captivated by a vibrant array of green cocktails. Upon inquiring, “What’s that green drink?” and subsequently tasting the cocktail, they realized this was more than just a drink; it was a remarkable experience.
Compelled by the cocktail’s unique profile, the team decided to encapsulate the garden flavors of green herbs, ginger, fresh lime juice, organic cane sugar, and a subtle heat from jalapeños in high-quality spirits.
