Organico Realfoods Presents a Robust Selection of 6 Nutritious Pulses and Beans

Organico Realfoods offers 6-strong selection of nutritious pulses & beans

For Realfoods by Organico, 2025 continues the momentum established in 2024, introducing a collection of versatile, best-in-class ‘larder essentials.’ This new product lineup will soon feature a family of six high-end beans and pulses.

This year, we return to our roots with a strong Mediterranean influence. Our range has been carefully sourced from Italian family farms that prioritize quality and sustainability. These farms ensure that our beans are packed with beneficial fiber; they retain their shape while avoiding excessive starchiness.

Each batch of beans undergoes a meticulous process: hand sorting, overnight soaking, and pressure cooking. Finally, they are bathed in Sicilian sea salt. This process embodies Organico Realfood’s unwavering commitment to delivering the unadulterated joy that comes from consuming genuinely tasty real foods.

According to Organico founder Charles Redfern, “Naturally we’re responding to a growing curiosity for high-end beans and pulses with nutritional upsides. For some food enthusiasts, these increasingly popular larder essentials facilitate a deliberate dietary shift toward hearty yet wholesome plant-based meals and enhance gut health. Others may find that these protein-rich pulses and beans offer a lesson in meat reduction, with the occasional addition of bacon or chorizo to enhance umami.”

“In the first instance, Realfood Organico’s range will consist of Borlotti Beans, Chickpeas, Red Kidney Beans, White Cannellini Beans, Black Turtle Beans, and Fine Peas.”

“As one of the tastiest, most sustainable food categories on the planet, we believe it is essential to support the great bean and pulse debate. We are committed to keeping these nutritious options front-of-plate. Our ‘as nature intended’ beans and pulses represent the most ‘planet positive’ range available, adhering to uncompromising organic standards and addressing environmental impact concerning pesticides, climate, and biodiversity.”
