The new range will be available to both grocery and convenience retailers from September onwards. These retailers can expect an attractive margin with an RRP of just £1.79 for a pack of four. Additionally, the product offers ambient storage and a long shelf life.

The new kids’ range is sugar-free and will consist of two different SKUs. One SKU features strawberry-flavored jelly, while the other offers orange-flavored jelly. Notably, both SKUs are made with 100% real fruit juice and contain real fruit pieces of pineapple and papaya.

According to Andrew Bradshaw, the UK sales director at the Dole Sunshine Company, this launch is distinct as it promotes a sugar-free, allergy-free fruit in jelly range designed specifically for children. Bradshaw emphasizes the company’s firm belief in good nutrition for all. Moreover, with the imminent return back to school, this launch is timely and can assist parents in making healthier food choices for their children’s lunchboxes. Importantly, the price of these products is affordable for all families.

What sets this product apart is that its flavors were chosen by kids, for kids. In collaboration with a local primary school, all year two and three kids had the opportunity to test and vote on the best flavor combinations. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with 96% of both kids and parents expressing a desire to have these products available at home for snacks. Remarkably, even two children with significant allergies to artificial flavors and colors enjoyed the products.
