Birchall Tea proudly announces its partnership with Tusk, introducing the new tea blend ‘Serengeti.’ With every pack sold, a contribution of 5p will be designated to support Tusk’s vital initiatives.
This collaboration highlights Birchall Tea’s dedication to sustainable and ethical practices while making a tangible impact on African wildlife conservation efforts championed by Tusk.
Through meticulous research, Birchall’s master blenders have sourced rare Tanzanian teas, crafting a rich, invigorating breakfast tea. Inspired by the diverse wildlife of the Serengeti, this new blend boasts a bold and refreshing flavor that promises to enliven any morning routine.
All of Birchall’s award-winning black teas originate from East Africa, a region known for producing exceptional teas. The synergy of high altitude, nutrient-rich volcanic soil, and abundant rainfall in this equatorial zone creates ideal conditions for cultivating tea with unmatched flavor.
Daniel Graham, Managing Director of Birchall Tea, expresses enthusiasm for launching Birchall Serengeti this year, stating, “This collaboration will raise awareness and generate funding to protect endangered wildlife in Africa.” He further emphasizes that this is “the first tea in the UK to contain these rare Tanzanian teas.”
As this partnership with Tusk begins, Birchall Tea aims to significantly contribute to Tusk’s mission, which focuses on enhancing awareness, generating funding, and amplifying support for conservation efforts across Africa.
For over a decade, Birchall’s black teas have been exclusively sourced from East Africa, where the company has actively supported numerous good causes that benefit both communities and wildlife.
The donations from Birchall Tea will directly support Tusk’s initiatives aimed at protecting endangered species, conserving habitats, enhancing biodiversity, promoting human-wildlife coexistence, and advancing environmental education.
