The trophy will be granted to retailers who have exemplified an exceptional commitment to community retailing throughout the last year. These retailers have gone above and beyond in supporting their colleagues, customers, and fellow retailers.

Presently, ACS chief executive James Lowman expresses his delight in receiving numerous entries from outstanding retailers for the third year of this award, which commemorates Raj’s legacy as an exceptional community retailer. Congratulations are extended to all three finalists, and their insights will be eagerly awaited at our Heart of the Community conference. Attendees of the conference will have the privilege of voting for the overall winner.
The three esteemed finalists are cordially invited to attend the ACS Heart of the Community conference, scheduled for October. During the conference, they will have the opportunity to share their remarkable community efforts from the past year.
Awaiting the final outcome, the winner will be determined by a vote amongst retailers and suppliers in attendance at an exclusive reception on the House of Commons Terrace.
The judging panel for the entries comprised Sunita Aggarwal, Raj’s wife and owner of Spar Wigston; Jonathan James, managing director of James Convenience Retail; and Avtar Sidhu, owner of Budgens Kenilworth.
