In order to enhance food and drink sustainability, Hero Benelux has chosen to use SIG MagnumBloc 1,500mL aseptic carton packs, made with SIG Terra Forest-based polymers. This sustainable packaging solution aligns with their ongoing sustainability strategy and reflects their commitment to offering environmentally friendly options for consumers. By opting for SIG carton packs with SIG Terra Forest-based polymers, Hero Benelux is able to reduce the carbon footprint of their packaging by up to 51% compared to standard SIG packs. Furthermore, these packs are fully recyclable, providing consumers with an easy way to dispose of them in the appropriate PMD bin or bag.

Kim Luu, brand manager drinks at Hero Benelux, recognizes the significance of partnerships with suppliers like SIG in their journey to becoming a Climate Positive company. By working together to reduce carbon emissions and protect nature, Hero Benelux is taking proactive steps towards a more sustainable future. The launch of Cassis juices in SIG carton packs, utilizing SIG Terra Forest-based polymers, allows consumers to continue enjoying the exceptional taste and quality of Hero’s Cassis juices while also supporting a more sustainable packaging option.
