Developed meticulously over the past two years by Diageo’s innovation team, Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0% offers a delightfully layered flavor experience. It boasts distinct notes of caramel, molasses, vanilla, and warm brown spices. This alcohol-free alternative provides those seeking moderation with a taste akin to the original Captain Morgan Spiced Gold, tapping into the increasing popularity of rum.
According to the makers, Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0% can seamlessly substitute for the alcoholic version in any cocktail or drink, whether crafted at home by consumers or by operators in the on-trade scene. This versatility allows individuals to enjoy their favorite drinks while making conscious choices about their alcohol intake.

When creating Captain Morgan 0.0%, we went through more than 400 recipes before we were able to capture the iconic rum and spice flavor of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold, but without the alcohol. Captain Morgan 0.0% has been created by layering flavors that deliver the complexity and depth that consumers know and love.”
Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0% joins Diageo’s alcohol-free portfolio as the latest brand and the first dark spirit. This addition follows the successful launches of alcohol-free versions of Guinness, Tanqueray, and Gordons in recent years.
