Amberley Labels, part of Paranova Print and Packaging, has collaborated with Henderson’s Relish, based in Sheffield, to create a special limited-edition series of bottles that supports the Pride of Yorkshire fundraising initiative.
This initiative, launched on June 8th, features bottles available for purchase through Henderson’s website. All proceeds will benefit Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, contributing to its appeal celebrating the hospital’s 150th anniversary. The Pride of Yorkshire campaign aims to install 150 life-sized lion and lioness sculptures throughout the region, highlighting local art, community spirit, and Yorkshire pride while generating funds to enhance the hospital’s Emergency Department.
Henderson’s Relish, a distinguished Sheffield brand founded in 1885, boasts a strong local connection and a dedicated customer base. Its secret recipe, known only to three family members, has contributed to its enduring popularity. The brand often launches limited-edition products, including collaborations with football clubs and designs by local artists, reinforcing its ties to the community while supporting various charitable causes.
For this special edition, the labels showcase artwork by Sheffield illustrator Abi Landridge, also known as Paperface. Designed specifically for the Pride of Yorkshire campaign, the label features a vibrant composition highlighted by a heart-shaped crest, with hand-drawn food illustrations and fluid shapes inspired by the relish. The artwork, set against the brand’s iconic orange, beautifully marries the campaign’s community emphasis with Henderson’s local heritage.
Printed at Amberley Labels, more than 3,000 labels were produced using flexographic printing technology and finished with a dual varnish to enhance the visual appeal of the artwork. This project marks the second collaboration between Amberley and Henderson’s focusing on charity-driven limited-edition products, continuing a partnership that began in 2021.
