Hunter & Gather has launched its 100% Avocado Oil Mayonnaise in Waitrose stores nationwide, featuring eight or more avocados per jar. This product is sugar-free and free from rapeseed and vegetable oils, embodying the brand’s commitment to natural ingredients with no artificial chemicals.
This clean label mayo, introduced in 2017 as the brand’s inaugural product, signifies Hunter & Gather’s journey to provide healthier food options.

Hunter & Gather has reported a remarkable 95% year-on-year growth in its total mayonnaise business within retail. Notably, its hero product, Avocado Oil Mayonnaise, has enjoyed a staggering 107% growth over the last 12 months. Commercial Director Ian Wilkinson stated, “These figures clearly demonstrate the movement of consumers towards more naturally nutritious food with minimal ingredients.”

The 175g jar of 100% Avocado Oil Mayonnaise will be available in Waitrose stores from 20 October at an RRP of £4.00.
