Dr Will’s has garnered attention by attracting investment from former Love Island celebrity Kem Cetinay during a recent capital raise for this UK-based condiments business.

The company successfully secured £500,000 ($672,830) from investors, including Cetinay’s investment vehicle, ATG Ventures, and previous supporter, Kliro Capital Partners.

Liam White, co-founder of Dr Will’s, stated that the business has raised approximately £3 million to date through several investment rounds.

Speaking in February, White expressed optimism that Dr Will’s would be near profitability by year-end, aiming for full profitability within the next twelve months.

The company recently achieved a new listing with another major UK supermarket, Sainsbury’s.

Dr Will’s plans to introduce its newly launched Olive Oil Mayo in 130 Sainsbury’s stores this weekend, alongside its existing Avocado Oil Mayo.

While Dr Will’s already had listings with Tesco, it is now expanding its offerings, increasing its SKU count with the retailer to six.

Targeting health-conscious consumers, Dr Will’s emphasizes its premium approach to better-for-you condiments amidst growing awareness around ultra-processed foods.

White indicated in February that he believes consumers are increasingly willing to invest in healthier options as health considerations become pivotal to purchasing decisions.

Commenting on Cetinay’s investment, White remarked: “Kem brings the perfect mix of cultural relevance and business acumen.”

“He’s smart, health-focused and understands what consumers are looking for. Having him on board—not just as a fan but as an investor—is a significant milestone for us.”

The Olive Oil Mayo, soon to be available in Sainsbury’s, is crafted from 100% olive oil, free of sugar, artificial preservatives, gums, and additives.

Additionally, two new dressings—Green Goddess and Chipotle Ranch—have just launched in Tesco, complementing existing products listed with Waitrose, Ocado, and The Co-op.

Cetinay stated: “I’ve been a fan of Dr Will’s for a while. I love the bold flavors, the clean ingredients, and, most importantly, the mission. As someone passionate about health, food, and supporting innovative ideas, this alignment just makes sense.”
