The Costa Coffee brand has announced a new campaign aimed at keeping the brand top-of-mind among consumers. The campaign will focus on driving trials of its Latte and Frappe ranges, while also increasing sales within the RTD chilled coffee sector.

Launching this week, the campaign will run throughout the summer and aims to give consumers an uplifting experience. Comprehensive marketing efforts include engaging social media video content, captivating nationwide out-of-home advertising, and sampling takeovers in highly trafficked areas throughout London.

In addition, festival partnerships have been secured with some of the UK’s biggest gatherings, including Pride, Might Hoopla, Barcode Festival, Car Fest, and Kendal Calling. Festival-goers can look forward to sampling bikes and branded Land Rover Defenders distributing cans of Costa Coffee’s popular Latte range and Frappes.

Something new that festival-goers may want to check out is ‘The Dopamine Booth.’ This immersive experience is inspired by the latest dopamine dressing trend, allowing users to choose from different ‘moods’ to curate their own experience. Visitors have a chance to win a year’s supply of Costa Coffee RTD chilled coffee.

Speaking on the campaign, Pippa Foster, Associate Director of Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said, “Our uplifting summer campaign is perfectly aligned with the key RTD chilled coffee needs among young adults, providing a boost or pick-me-up. This campaign builds on Costa Coffee’s prior sampling successes and major takeovers throughout the UK in 2022.

She went on to say, “The Costa Coffee chilled RTD range has enjoyed tremendous value and volume sales growth again over the last year. This summer, we’re confident that the marketing campaign and sampling activity will engage more consumers than ever before, driving demand for the Costa Coffee chilled RTD range and resulting in increased sales for our customers during a key trading period.”
