Valeo Foods Group announced the hiring of Kevin Moore as UK CEO, effective 5th June. This decision makes Moore the first leader of the complete Valeo Foods UK portfolio, including Valeo Snackfoods, Rowse, and Matthew Walker businesses.
With 25 years of experience in various commercial and operational roles, Moore was most recently the deputy CEO and chief commercial officer at Greencore. Valeo stated that Moore would be responsible for driving the growth of its UK portfolio, strengthening the overall organization, and ensuring it’s the preferred supplier for customers.
“I’m very excited to be joining Valeo Foods, and I see a huge opportunity to further develop an exciting UK business,” said Moore. Incoming group CEO Ronald Kers claimed, “I am thrilled that Valeo Foods has been able to attract a talent of the caliber of Kevin and look forward to supporting his exciting plans for the future of the business and organization in the UK.”
Wayne Hudson, who has supported the UK business closely for the previous months, will hand over to Moore but continue advising Valeo Foods and Bain Capital. “On behalf of the board of Valeo Foods, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the contributions that Wayne has made,” said Kers.
