Win Win Water proudly announces the launch of its groundbreaking bottled water solution, featuring 100% plant-based bottles that are fully biodegradable. This innovative initiative addresses the pressing environmental issues linked to traditional plastic bottles while delivering consumers high-quality, naturally alkaline electrolyte spring water. The official launch event occurred on February 18 at the Baltic Market in Liverpool.
The Win Win water bottles, including the label and lid, are crafted completely from Luminy® PLA, a form of Poly Lactic Acid produced by TotalEnergies Corbion from ethically farmed and sustainably sourced sugarcane. This process ensures a toxin-free product for consumers. Designed for rapid biodegradation, these bottles break down within 90 days in commercial composting facilities. As highlighted in a 2012 report, there are currently 271 such facilities in the UK. Notably, while the bottles are compostable, they are also durable enough for multiple reuses, providing consumers with versatile options for sustainable hydration.
