CKF Systems is pleased to announce the commencement of the installation of a new robotic central palletising system for a prominent global snack manufacturer at one of their state-of-the-art facilities. This project marks the continuation of a strong 25-year working relationship between CKF Systems and the esteemed client.
The latest system will offer fully automated palletisation, handling cased products from seven existing production lines. Building on the success of two previously supplied and commissioned robotic central palletising systems, elements of the system’s design have been incorporated into this new installation.
Representing a significant multi-million-pound investment, this cutting-edge robotic system is the most recent addition to the portfolio of successfully delivered and commissioned systems by CKF’s experienced engineering team. The system aligns with the client’s commitment to enhancing and automating their manufacturing operations.
This state-of-the-art turnkey solution from CKF Systems features the company’s own range of pallet and case conveyors, in addition to ABB robots, Apollo Spirals, and Intralox ARB equipment. As ABB value providers and the sole UK company with a full Preferred Partnership agreement with Intralox, CKF has the unique license to manufacture Intralox’s ARB equipment in-house.
Commenting on the project, Jamie Quinton, CKF managing director, emphasized the enduring partnership with the client. “We’re delighted that they have again chosen CKF Systems to help automate their operations and further drive their ambitions to increase productivity, streamline their operations and reduce manual handling through effective use of automation and robotics,” said Quinton. “The length of the relationship shows how much trust has been established between our two companies and the confidence they have in the reliability of our solutions.”
