Amcor, a leading global provider of responsible packaging solutions, is set to unveil an innovative PACK EXPO experience aimed at empowering brands and copackers to achieve growth through advanced packaging solutions.

With a vision for a sustainable future, Amcor’s flexibles and rigids divisions will collaborate to showcase packaging designed for retail, food and drink services, healthcare, and industrial applications. Industry professionals can find Amcor in South Hall, booth #3705, at McCormick Place.

Guided by Amcor’s packaging specialists, visitors will explore innovations driven by operational efficiencies and consumer trends, including convenience, generational preferences, and shelf appeal. Brands prioritizing sustainability will discover ready-to-use solutions covering over 85% of Amcor’s product portfolio, ensuring optimal performance for their production environments.

Interactive application demonstrates data-driven decision making for measuring carbon impact

Amcor is thrilled to offer an on-demand application at PACK EXPO that evaluates over 130 packages against more sustainable alternatives. This tool quantifies reductions in energy use, carbon footprint, and water requirements. Amcor’s comprehensive range of packaging solutions is tailored to be recyclable, minimize resource waste, and enhance the use of recycled content across various formats.

This year, Amcor is excited to highlight additional examples of fiber-based packaging. The AmFiberâ„¢ portfolio features cold-seal bar wrap, dry mix pouches, and home care product sachets. Notably, AmFiberâ„¢ packaging is curbside recyclable, reduces reliance on virgin plastic, and satisfies requirements for barrier performance and shelf life.

Additionally, the award-winning AmPrima® portfolio is engineered for recyclability at existing store drop-off points or curbside, where available. AmPrima® films surpass the performance criteria of current non-recyclable options.

This year, Amcor’s healthcare division will relocate from the pharma pavilion, showcasing alongside other Amcor groups at booth #3705. Consumer health brands will encounter a variety of solutions, including the AmSky™ thermoform blister system, which is recycle-ready and free from vinyl and aluminum.

Discover Amcor’s expertise in utilizing recycled content with AmFiniti™, derived from both mechanically recycled and advanced recycled materials, at the circular economy demonstration table located at the center of the Amcor booth.

Renowned for pioneering responsible rigid packaging, Amcor will spotlight recent advancements in lightweight technologies, bottle design, and engineering, all aimed at creating environmentally friendly packaging. Innovations such as PowerPostâ„¢, DairySealâ„¢ featuring ClearCorâ„¢ technology, and the Apexâ„¢ bottle with Elevateâ„¢ technology will be featured prominently.

Live Amcor equipment/film packaging system demonstrations to lower total packaging costs

Liquiflex® VFFS pouch demonstration reveals a 67% carbon reduction compared to cans

The Liquiflex® system exemplifies fast, flexible packaging technology for foodservice products such as soups, sauces, dressings, and condiments. These intermittent or continuous motion VFFS pouching machines produce durable, abuse-resistant pouches with excellent seal integrity. Liquiflex® offers a programmable 200-function memory, rapid changeovers and cleanups, and precise weight control to eliminate variability and safeguard profit margins.

Liquiflex® pouches reduce the carbon footprint by an impressive 67% compared to metal cans, while also allowing a 30% reduction in material thickness over competing structures.

Experience the Moda Bag vacuum packaging system in action, incorporating Amcor shrink tubing.

This compact, all-in-one bag-making and printing system caters to both boneless and bone-in meats as well as cheese. This integrated solution dramatically lowers material and labor costs, enabling producers to adjust outputs swiftly to accommodate changing SKUs, product sizes, and labeling requirements through on-site printing technology.

The Moda Bag system efficiently vacuum-packages products utilizing rolls of shrink tubing up to 17 inches. High-resolution thermal transfer printing ensures crisp brand graphics inline, eliminating the need to store individual SKUs of printed shrink bags or labels in inventory.

Film + machinery testimonials running throughout the halls

Amcor films will be showcased across machinery company booths in every hall of PACK EXPO. More than 60 film specifications will illustrate the efficiencies achieved through the synergy between machinery and packaging film. Attendees are invited to stop by the Amcor booth for a map to enhance their exploration of the event.
