Beatson Clark has made significant strides in enhancing packaging by meticulously designing a new 420ml bottle that accommodates exactly seven 60ml servings. This innovative solution offers consumers a week-long supply of UNROOTED’s functional shots.
The newly developed flint bottle perfectly complements the brand’s earlier 60ml single-shot container, which Beatson Clark commenced production on earlier this year. This alignment reflects the growing trend in food and drink sustainability, demonstrating a commitment to eco-friendly practices.
Olivia Sinclair, head of marketing for UNROOTED, stated: “Baobab trees live for thousands of years, thriving and giving back to the planet. We think packaging should do the same.” She emphasized that all their shots are packaged in glass rather than plastic. This choice ensures freshness without preservatives, regardless of whether the shots are stored in the fridge or the cupboard. Glass, being infinitely recyclable, maintains its quality over countless reuse cycles, setting it apart from plastic, which deteriorates with each use.
“Glass packaging is better for you, and better for the world!” Sinclair added, underscoring the increasing consumer demand for sustainable packaging in the food and drink sector.
Charlotte Pike, marketing manager at Beatson Clark, noted: “UNROOTED functional drinks are a great product, and our sustainable glass packaging complements the brand’s ethos perfectly.” She highlighted an important fact: glass is the only mainstream packaging material that does not require a protective layer on the inside, as it is completely inert. This characteristic not only enhances the product’s integrity but also aligns with current food and drink consumer trends favoring environmentally responsible solutions.
