Vinca’s diverse selection of 187ml cans, along with sparkling options in 200ml cans, is now accessible through over 100 retailers and beverage specialists. Additionally, these products are being served on flights, cruise ships, train lines, and at major stadiums and arenas. This expansion aligns perfectly with current food and drink consumer trends, emphasizing convenience and portability in beverage packaging.

Kingsland Drinks has strategically partnered with MM Packaging to create a fully enclosed, FSC-certified carton board format for canned wines and ready-to-drink cocktails. This initiative not only enhances product aesthetics but also supports sustainable packaging practices critical in today’s industry.

Eileen Hay, account manager for contract packing at Kingsland Drinks, remarked: “In the last few years, we have invested heavily in our high-speed canning line at our production facility in Salford as we know this sector is ripe for growth, in line with consumer lifestyle and socialising trends. The £1.2m initial investment in 2020 allowed us to expand our services and capabilities into canning, with capacity to produce 26 million cans per year in 150ml, 187ml, 200ml, 250ml, and 330ml formats. With more investment in the pipeline, our capacity and capability will increase even further in 2026 and beyond.” This investment demonstrates our commitment to meeting evolving food and drink packaging demands.

Zak Walters, co-founder of Vinca, stated: “We’ve got a strong working relationship with the Kingsland Drinks team who have really got under the skin of our brand to understand our ethos, where we have come from, what we need for our current portfolio, and what our future requirements might be. They’ve demonstrated they can support our future plans, NPD, and capacity requirements, and we were blown away with their facilities, capabilities, and scale.” This collaboration exemplifies the importance of finding strategic partners in the realm of food and drink marketing.

Jo Taylorson, head of marketing and product management at Kingsland Drinks, added: “Partnerships such as those with Vinca and MM Packaging are in our sweet spot – for brands looking to scale, finding the right strategic partner is key to take them to the next level.” This insight underscores the critical role that collaboration plays in navigating the complexities of food and drink sustainability and consumer preferences.
