PepsiCo India has recently announced a significant change in its executive team’s leadership, reflecting the company’s global strategy and commitment to dynamic leadership. In March 2024, Ahmed El Sheikh, the current CEO of PepsiCo India, will step down from his position after nearly seven successful years. He will transition to the role of CEO for the Middle East Business Unit within the company.
Jagrut Kotecha, who currently serves as PepsiCo’s Chief Commercial Officer for Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia (AMESA), will take over as the new CEO of PepsiCo India. This transition is part of a series of leadership changes throughout AMESA and is carefully planned to reflect PepsiCo’s forward-thinking global approach.
In a statement, Eugene Willemsen, Chief Executive Officer – Africa, Middle East & South Asia at PepsiCo, highlighted India’s significance as a pivotal market for the company and expressed confidence in both leaders.
