Actus Nutrition has significantly boosted its annual whey powder production capacity at the Fond du Lac plant in Wisconsin by an impressive 40 million pounds thanks to a substantial expansion project.
This initiative involves the implementation of advanced robotics and automation, along with enhancements to drying processes, liquid management, and carbohydrate processing systems. According to the company, this investment aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency and facilitate further development in dairy nutrition ingredients.
Over 100 contractors collaborated closely with Actus Nutrition’s workforce and project partners during this expansion. The company also anticipates that this investment will generate numerous full-time positions and provide additional career advancement opportunities for current employees.
